Great plant if you're planning a wildscape. I love the scent of these blooms.

I have never attempted to produce any perfumed oils from this plant;however, this has been done in South America.

Fester, Martinucci, Retamar, Ricciardi in the book "Essential Oils of the Argentine Republic" of 1961, wrote " ... the months of December until January are most advisable for the harvesting, since later the leaves are frequently small and of little aroma."

This hardy shrub usually grows to about 10'.
